UIU Los Angeles brought Owerri's sunshine indoors at Widows, Orphans & Destitute’s Care Centre (a.k.a Mercy Home), Owerri Imo State as Feeding the Future blossomed in 2023. Together, we nourished young hearts with food, laughter, and love. All this was made possible by our wonderful donors. Thanks to our partners Target Foundation, UIU Cares Enugu, UNGI and Good360 for their support.

December 2022
Umu Igbo Unite Los Angeles traveled to Anambra, Nigeria to donate food items, toys, & school supplies to the Community Children’s Home in Aguleri and Tenderlove Orphanage. These items were purchased with funds donated to us by a few of our amazing members & supporters. This was a memorable experience for our motherless brothers and sisters at the orphanage. UIU-LA was able to provide support, spark joy, and give Glory to the Lord through prayer!
Community Children’s Home in Aguleri and Tenderlove in Awka have expressed how grateful they are to UIU-LA for their efforts and have sent their prayers and blessings. Here are some pictures/video footage from Feeding The Future.

Our first year kicked off December 2017 in Imo State at the Red Cross Motherless Babies Orphanage. Last year, UIU-LA members served at the Mercy Motherless Babies Home and St. John Children Center in Imo State. All this was made possible by our wonderful donors.
